We are ALL born and spend much of our adolescence with the core values of the Alexander Technique embedded in our everyday life. Unfortunately, as we get older and bad habits emerge, we lose this instinctively vital knowledge of how to use our bodies effectively.
You learn the Alexander Technique through one-to-one lessons with a qualified teacher who addresses your individual needs. Learning the Technique involves changing long-standing habits. Improvement relies on your active participation. The Technique involves no specific exercises, requires no special equipment and can be practised wherever you are. Gentle hands-on guidance and verbal explanation are used to help you find ease and balance within yourself in everyday activities – such as sitting, standing, walking or bending.
Payments for sessions are made in advance by either cash, cheque or BACS – details available
on request.
Cancellation – a minimum of 24 hours’ notice of cancellation is required or full fee will be charged.
Appointments can be easily changed in advance but are subject to availability.
